PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Legislative liaison for Michigan Association for Consumer Protection and other community groups, negotiated and drafted portions of Michigan Consumer Protection Act; Employee Right to Know act; and provided legislative testimony and legal expertise on numerous other pieces of legislation including the Subversive Activities Statutes. Also provided testimony and a draft of utility shutoff rules for the Michigan Public Service Commission.

Numerous lawsuits involving Constitutional law including:
Benkert v Michigan State Police, finding subversive activities law unconstitutional and distributing files to thousands of victims of police spying on legitimate political activities;
Dow v State of Michigan,396 Mich 192, 04/01/1976 barring state from foreclosing on property for unpaid property taxes absent due process of law.
